PiggyLog

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-24

This is a draft. The service owner will complete the controller details and specifics before public launch.

1. What PiggyLog is

PiggyLog is a service for keeping a deposit log for physical piggy banks. The service does not accept, hold or transfer money. Log entries are user declarations, not confirmations of financial transactions.

2. Administrator account

An account is created by the person who wants to manage a piggy bank. Registration requires an email address and its confirmation. The administrator is responsible for the content entered in the log and for sharing QR codes.

3. Depositors

People who scan a code do not create an account. Giving a name is voluntary. Entries may require approval by the piggy bank administrator.

4. Stickers and codes

A QR code leads to the piggy bank page. A disabled code never returns to use. The service is not responsible for the consequences of sharing a code with third parties.

5. Liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it running without interruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. [To be completed by the owner: operating entity, governing law, complaints procedure.]

6. Changes to these terms

We will inform piggy bank administrators about material changes by email in advance.
